Caltrans is weighing two bridge replacement plans for Pacific Coast Highway at Trancas Creek. The project team presented the alternatives at a public scoping session on January 27.

The options are a “short bridge” that would be 6 feet wider and 20 feet longer than the existing span, and a “long bridge,” 6 feet wider and 140 feet longer than the
existing bridge.
