SMMUSD, SMC’s joint meeting highlights districts’ college readiness efforts

The governing boards of the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District and Santa Monica Community College District held a special joint meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 20.

The focus of the meeting was the two districts’ progress toward achieving mutual data-driven goals, established at a joint meeting last year, to ensure SMMUSD students have access to higher education opportunities at Santa Monica College.
