Whether running or jumping, seven Malibu Sharks found their way to the CIF postseason thanks to performances at the Citrus Coast League championships Saturday, April 27, at Carpinteria High School.

The performances led Malibu (82 points) to third overall in the standings, behind meet champ Fillmore (130) and runnerup Nordhoff (123).

Asher Andrus continued her special junior season with first-place finishes in both the 100- and 300-meter hurdles to automatically qualify for the CIF divisional meet Saturday, May 4, also at Carpinteria.
