With dazzling costumes and lively music, the Pacifico Dance Co., a Los Angeles-based troupe, graced the stage at Pepperdine’s Smothers Theater Sunday, April 14, opening with an excerpt of “Madre de Dolores,” an homage to the Virgin of Guadalupe, a figure revered in Mexico’s history.
