Anthony Baklayan, 57, and Shoushan Baklayan, 82, have been identified as the two victims who were “severely burned” and killed during the Woolsey Fire.

The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office report deferred a cause for Shoushan but ruled that Anthony’s death was a result of effects of thermal injuries.

The two bodies were found inside of a stopped vehicle in a long, narrow driveway on Mulholland Highway in unincorporated Malibu, officials said. The incident was reported at 4:43 p.m. Nov. 9, but detectives were not able to access the scene until the next day because of the fires.

The Coroner’s Office also is investigating the death of an unidentified individual found Nov. 13 in the 32000 block of Lobo Canyon Road in Agoura Hills, as well as bone fragments found Nov. 15 in the 4000 block of Latigo Canyon Road.

As of Tuesday, Dec. 11, LA County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner Public Information Officer Sarah Ardalani said no updates are available in the latter two cases.
