Malibu student earns degree
Audrey Gosnell, from Malibu, graduated from Butler University in Indianapolis in May. Gosnell was a strategic communication major.
Butler saw 955 students graduate on May 11.
Malibuite makes president’s list
Sophia Rachael Lamb, of Malibu, has been named to the president’s list at Clemson University for the spring 2017 semester.
Lamb is majoring in language and international health.
To be named to the president’s list, a student must achieve a 4.0 grade-point average.

Malibu student named to dean’s honor list
Malibu native Emily Eigler, a student in the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s School of Human Ecology, was named to the dean’s honor list for the spring semester of the 2016-2017 academic year.
Students who achieve at a high level academically are recognized by the dean at the close of each semester. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must complete a minimum of 12 graded degree credits in that semester. Each university school or college sets its own GPA requirements for students to be eligible to receive the distinction. Most call the honor dean’s list, but some grant the dean’s honor list and dean’s high honor list.
