Phyllis E. Klein died Monday, May 8. She was a 47-year resident of Malibu. Born June 17, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York, she got her degree in Business Administration from N.Y.U. and came to California in the early 1950s after getting married. She worked as a legal secretary for most of her life. Klein was the middle of three sisters and the first to get her college degree. She was a docent at the Adamson House, a member of the Art Association, a Pepperdine Crest Club member where she played tennis and swam, and the best mom ever.
