Malibu Surfside News to appear at Malibu Arts Festival

Malibu Surfside News readers are invited to meet the staff of the publication at the Malibu Arts Festival this weekend.

The 43rd annual festival will take place from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27, in front of the Malibu Civic Center, 23555 Civic Center Way between Cross Creek and Webb Way off Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu. The Optimist Club of Malibu will serve a pancake breakfast starting at 8 a.m. both days.

The Malibu Arts Festival features more than 200 award-winning painters, sculptors, photographers, jewelers and other unique artisans.

Malibu residents can also sign up to win a Taste of Malibu prize pack which includes gift cards to the following restaurants and stores: $50 to Kristy’s Malibu, $25 to Howdy’s Taqueria Malibu, $25 to Vintage Grocers, $25 to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, $25 to Zooma Sushi, $25 to Coral Beach Cantina and $20 to Kaishin Malibu.

Only one winner will be chosen for the Taste of Malibu prize pack and notified by phone Monday, July 28.
