The eighth annual Malibu Invitational hit First Point on June 27-29 to benefit THERAsurf, a nonprofit organization aimed at teaching special needs children how to surf.

The event, a shortboard pro and legend’s surf contest, raised $25,000 throughout the weekend for THERAsurf and awarded Nathaniel Curran with the first-place prize in the pro division.

Strider Wasilewski took home first place in the master’s division.

The event was followed by a dinner at Duke’s Malibu.
