Michaela Cosentino is a runner on the Malibu High School track and field team.

How did you get involved in track and field and when did you get started?

I started freshman year because I wanted to try something new.

What’s your favorite thing about track and field?

I like that it is an individual sport but you are also supporting your team. It is fun to compete in different events and strive to improve your PRs.

Who is your role model?

In the track sense I look up to someone that I train with at UCLA.

What’s your favorite place in Malibu?

La Costa Beach Club.

Who is your favorite artists or band?

I like many artists and do not have a favorite.

What are your plans for after high school?

I would like to attend a four-year college and continue to pursue track and field as part of that experience.

What’s your favorite subject in school?

I like math.

What’s your dream job?

I am not sure what I would like to do yet so I don’t really have a dream job in mind.

What’s your favorite family vacation?

We go to Oregon in the summer to visit our cousins and spend time in Cannon Beach. I have really fun memories of the 4th of July parade every year.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

One of my best friends and I always listen to weird songs on the bus and jam.
