Freedom Road: Children’s Rescue Alliance

7 p.m. May 15. The Children’s Rescue Alliance will present about the organization’s activities, which include rescuing kidnapped children who are trafficked from and within the United States.

Poetry by the Sea

3 p.m. May 18. Guest poets will be Carine Topal, Cory Besskepp Cofer and Antonieta Villamil. An open-mic portion will also occur.

Freedom Road: Girl Rising!

The Listening Post

3 p.m. May 18. Jill Grimes, a guest speaker from Arizona, will speak about her long-time practice of healing addiction, disease and depression. Jill said she believes that God’s love can “dissolve the glue of our consent that attaches us to guilt, disease or age.” All are welcome to this event and refreshments will be provided.
