Last week’s Jan. 17 Town Hall Meeting on homelessness at Malibu City Hall attracted a standing-room-only crowd.

The event, sponsored by the City of Malibu, was not so much a question-and-answer session as an update on the progress of the Malibu Task Force on Homelessness.

Malibu City Councilmember Laura Rosenthal introduced the event, explaining that the task force was started last year by former Malibu City Councilmember Pamela Conley Ulich and Malibu resident and activist Jay Scott.
