The Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District offers distance learning guides for parents.

During the first regular meeting since the fall semester began two weeks ago, the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District board got an assessment of distance learning and COVID-19.

“Anecdotally, things are going pretty well just based on what I’m hearing from parents and from different people and from students,” said Superintendent Ben Drati during the Sept. 3 meeting held via Zoom. “There is a definite difference between what people are experiencing now versus what was happening in the springtime.”
