A $1,000 iPhone and a $500 Goyard wallet containing credit cards were among the items reportedly stolen from a vehicle parked just outside the Surfrider Beach parking lot at 23000 Pacific Coast Highway. The alleged victim stated he placed his car keys on top of a tire before going to surf at around 10 a.m. He also stated he might have left the vehicle unlocked. When he returned, items were missing from his car. He was notified by the bank that there were $18,000 in fraudulent charges on his credit cards at unknown stores.
