Mankind requires half a generation to ensure that global warming is constrained to a maximum of 1.5 degrees celcius, beyond which  will significantly worsen risks of droughts, floods and extreme heat, according to Dr. Stephen Davis, a longtime biology professor at Pepperdine University who delivered the keynote address April 10 at Climate Calling.
