The start of the gardening season is here. This month is an excellent time to start preparing the soil. If you have raised beds, you should have one bed that is not growing anything except for a cover crop. When it is fully grown, you just turn over the soil and add 1 cup each of rock dust and organic fertilizer for the garden. The bed should sit for about a month before you start to plant. If you grow in the ground, you should add rock dust, live compost and then an organic fertilizer for vegetables as per the instructions.
