Residents gathered April 2 for a special city council meeting at Malibu City Hall as Jesse Bobbitt, parks and recreation director for the city, and his staff explained various options to replace two small playgrounds at Bluffs Park, areas known as the sandbox and zipline areas.

The matter is slated for consideration by the Parks and Recreation Commission on May 21. In the interim, residents can provide feedback to the city regarding the changes.
