“Rescue. Renew. Reconnect” is the motto of Malibu’s Big Heart Ranch, a place where 75 animals recuperate and find a second, safe home. As Malibuites grapple with the challenges of the coronavirus crisis, the motto now applies as strongly to humans as well as to the menagerie of animals at the Ranch because there are a myriad of online lessons and experiences available to introduce people to the caretakers and animals, their daily routines, their behaviors and needs.
