City Manager Reva Feldman today said the city of Malibu is considering following the lead of other jurisdictions to allow restaurants to use parking lots, sidewalks and other outdoor areas as temporary dining space to ride out the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Temporary Restaurant Recovery Program, set for City Council consideration on Monday, "is designed to help food service businesses expand their outdoor dining capacity in order to allow them to serve more people in a safe and physically distanced manner."
