Crews are out in several Malibu neighborhoods this week doing work associated with the city’s annual Tree Maintenance Program.

Through Tuesday, work is scheduled for 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The program goal is to “protect public safety by removing dead trees, grinding down stumps, trimming, pruning, line of sight clearance” and other work.

Targeted trees are within the city’s public right-of-way, and most work is taking place along the street shoulders, according to the city.
