As part of its newly released 2019 Wildfire Mitigation Plan, Southern California Edison is proposing to remove 7,500 “hazard trees”; replace 96 miles of circuit conductor; install more than 7,800 fuses on unfused lines; add 62 high-definition cameras and 350 micro weather stations; and inspect 100 percent of overhead lines in areas with a high fire risk.
