Santa Monica College to break ground this week in Malibu

Santa Monica College’s Malibu campus will span three acres and also include a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s substation as well as a multipurpose room doubling as an emergency operations center.

The groundbreaking ceremony for Santa Monica College will take place from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 21, on the site of the new campus at 23525 Civic Center Way in Malibu.
