One of the hardest transitions for many high school athletes that go on to play in college is going from the “superstar” to a member of a team made up of players who were their team’s super star.

Coming to Pepperdine University, David Wieczorek, a 2014 Loyola Academy graduate, had pretty much every school offensive record and many Illinois High School Association records, including finishing 10th in career kills with 1,263, 10th all-time for kills in a season after getting 542 in 2014 and 18th in career aces with 138.
