Dear Editor, Last week, in an article published in your newspaper, Suzanne Guldimann wrote that [beachgoers were concerned with] sandbags placed on Lechuza Beach and [that] it involved cutting into the hillside. That is not true. The bags were placed on private property where there is no public access and absolutely no one cut into a hillside. They were placed there in order to protect access to several homes. Andy Stern, Malibu resident
