The Chabad of Malibu celebrated the Jewish holiday of Purim March 12 with a Wild-West-themed party.

“Three-thousand years ago, there was an attempt to completely eliminate the Jewish people,” Chabad of Malibu Rabbi Levi Cunin said. “So, on Purim, we celebrate that we’re still here.”

Purim celebrates the salvation of the Jewish people from the ruler Haman’s attempt to massacre and eliminate the entire Jewish population.
