The Sharks took down the Louisville Royals from Woodland Hills 9-7 Tuesday, Dec. 2, at home.

The teams underwent a neck-and-neck battle for a lead for the first two periods, scoring a point to overtake the competition, only for the competition to match the point.

“Defensively and offensively, we were equally matched,” coach Hayden Goldberg said. “Their players were matching up with our players, but it was really good for me to see that I have a couple of younger girls who can play with the older girls, and vice versa.”
