NORWALK — Malibu High School senior Caroline Pietrzyk advanced to the CIF state track and field championships for the third straight year with her race at the CIF Southern Section Masters Meet at Cerritos College on Friday, May 29. 

Pietryzk finished her 3,200-meter race with a time of 10 minutes, 28.02 seconds, more than seven seconds faster than her performance at the CIF-SS Finals on May 23. She finished third overall in both races.
