With the start of the regular season right around the corner, the Malibu High School football team is making its final adjustments before the games start to matter.

The Sharks competed in a scrimmage Friday against the Hueneme Vikings and the Flintridge Prep Rebels. Head coach Terry Shorten said the team left the scrimmage that night on a high note.

“I was surprised that given the fact that we’re very young and played a lot of young kids that we competed with Hueneme and Flintridge Prep and did extremely well,” Shorten said. “I was very impressed with the younger kids.”
