Down 4-0 in the bottom of the sixth inning on Friday, March 18, the Malibu High School baseball team’s offense showed up.

With back-to-back hits and a stolen base, the Sharks got a runner in scoring position. A wild pitch by the Grace Brethren Lancers allowed Malibu to record its first run of the game.

Good Sharks defense gave them another shot at a comeback in the bottom of the seventh. A leadoff double by catcher Tyler Ray livened those hopes.
