The West Coast Conference awarded sophomore Tim Zeitvogel of the Pepperdine men’s tennis team with the 2020 WCC Sportsmanship honor, the league announced on Monday.

The award is voted on by the 10 Student Athletics Advisory Council groups in the conference.

According to the SAAC groups, “Zeitvogel was recognized for showing great resolve and composure when faced with adversity in hostile environments. Regardless of the situation, he demonstrated respect toward his opponents and tennis officials.”
