Basketball, baseball and soccer are some of the summer camp offerings provided by the Malibu Community Services Department.
The summer day camps run June 14-August 12 and will feature professionals and instructors who provide sports, enrichment and surf camps during the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District summer break.
Officials say the camps are presented “in a fun and supportive training environment to highlight each sport's core skills.”
The popular Aspects Surf Camp will offer eight weeks of surf camp for ages 8-13 at Surfrider Beach, Tower 3.
Sports aren’t the only offerings.
Enrichment camps will include theater and improvisation with the Young Actors Project, yoga, arts and crafts, comic book design and art history. These camps are designed to keep participants engaged “while learning about the visual and performing arts.”
