Humana has opened its toll-free crisis intervention hotline, (888) 673-1154, and its counseling services to include any individual who needs help and support coping with the Hill and Woolsey wildfires.

Humana has counselors and work/life specialists available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at the hotline to provide free, confidential assistance. Assistance is available in English and Spanish.

Further, the company is waiving all requirements for primary care physician referrals and prior authorizations for members impacted by the fires in counties declared disaster areas. Members who need to seek care out-of-network also will receive the same cost-sharing they would receive from an in-network health care provider or facility.

Prescription refill restrictions also will be lifted for members with a pharmacy benefit.

Humana members with questions about services available to them are encouraged to call the toll-free phone number on the back of their Humana ID card.
