For the second time in as many days, a fire near the Cross Creek Bridge on Pacific Coast Highway resulted in a response from Los Angeles County Fire Department crews.
Today’s blaze was reported around 2:10 p.m. under the structure. Engine 88 personnel had it out quickly and were on scene doing mop up.
Air support was initially requested, but was not needed.
A cause was not immediately identified.
