Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 53-year-old Malibu woman who reportedly was missing as of the morning of Tuesday, Feb. 11.
Julia Christine Snyder was last seen around 9 p.m. on Feb. 8, near her Malibu home in the 4300 block of Ocean View Drive, according to a Feb. 11 alert posted by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Detective Dan Morris, with the LA County Sheriff's Department's Missing Persons unit, said Snyder was believed to be on foot, and there was no indication of where she may have gone. Snyder's family reported her missing.
She is described as 5-foot-7 and approximately 140 pounds, with long, straight blonde hair and blue eyes. She also wears glasses, according to the police bulletin.
A November 2012 photo provided to the police department shows Snyder with dark hair, but Morris said family advised police that she currently has blonde hair.
She was last seen wearing a white shirt and flannel pajamas.
