A 19-year-old inmate escaped from the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station Tuesday, Oct. 16, and remained at large as of 2:55 p.m. Oct. 17. 

The Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department Information Bureau issued an advisory today asking for the public’s help in locating the man, Edis Gonzales-Lopez, who was arrested on Sept. 17 for burglary. 

The teenager is described as a male Hispanic who is 5 feet, 8 inches tall and roughly 150 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes, and he was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and an unknown color of pants, the release states. He is known to frequent the city of Pacoima.

Gonzales-Lopez climbed over a wall at the station, where he was an inmate worker.
