As the old saying goes, the secret is in the sauce.
The sauce at D’Amore’s Pizza comes all the way from Italy, as does the olive oil and the flour.
“We get our sauce from Italy as well as our flour and olive oil. There’s no damage to the soil in Italy,” said proprietor Joe D’Amore. “There’s 80 percent less gluten in the flour.”
D’Amores does not use any trans fats, MSG, margarine, partially hydrogenated oils, lard or added sugar.
