Hikers, bikers and equestrians may soon have trail access to Ramirez Canyon Park.
At its Jan. 12 meeting in Pismo Beach, the California Coastal Commission unanimously approved a new, mile-long portion of the Coastal Slope Trail, an equestrian and pedestrian bridge and three picnic tables. The application — submitted by the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy and its sister organization the Mountains Restoration and Conservation Authority, and approved by the Commission — also includes two campsites designed to accommodate disabled visitors and two ADA accessible restrooms.
