Two individuals, one in critical condition, were airlifted to UCLA Medical Center following an incident around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, in which a car reportedly left a canyon roadway in Malibu and dropped to a creek below.

The vehicle was located roughly 100 feet down, in the creek near Tuna Canyon Road, one mile north of Pacific Coast Highway, according to LA County Fire Inspector Richard Licon. There was no indication of what caused the car to leave the road, he said.
