Ventura County Fire Department officials remain on scene at a now-contained fire in the 39000 block of Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.

The call came in at roughly 1:13 p.m. today, according to a Ventura County Fire representative. Upon arrival, roughly a quarter acre of brush was reportedly burning, the spokesperson said, and canyon winds were traveling at roughly 30 miles per hour at the time of the incident.
