Not even a heat wave could keep dogs and their owners from attending the Malibu Coast Animal Hospital’s second annual Woofstock event on Saturday, Aug. 15.

The event was a chance for dogs and their owners to get outside and enjoy the good and services provided by a number of vendors.

The event, however, was primarily a fundraiser for nonprofit organization Healthcare for Homeless Animals and the Agoura Animal Shelter.

Figures weren’t ready by press time, but the event raised $35,000 last year.
