Police Reports: Alleged robber nets $25K in clothes, jewelry

A luxury watch and high-end women’s clothing and jewelry items were stolen from a home on Zumirez Drive in Malibu, it was reported Jan. 30. The total estimated value of the missing items is $25,135. 

The alleged victim was out of town and reportedly discovered all of the items missing upon returning.

Feb. 1

• A padlock, two mugs and a chair reportedly were vandalized at a residence on Sea Breeze Drive in Malibu. The alleged victims stated somebody broke the padlock, entered their home and broke the other items. They also stated shortly before the alleged incident, they had gotten into a conflict with someone living on the property.

Jan. 26

• A rock reportedly was thrown at a door, resulting in a chip to a window at The M Malibu, located at 22541 PCH. The alleged victim stated she received a message on her voicemail from a man saying he made a reservation at the hotel, but nobody was in the front office to give him a room key. The man allegedly threatened to kick the door in if he did not receive a call back in five minutes.
