DUI, license checkpoint nets nine arrests
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Malibu/Lost Hills Station conducted a DUI checkpoint on April 11 on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu
Officers guided 1,463 vehicles through the checkpoint, checking 1,240 drivers.
Of the nine total arrests made, one driver was arrested for an alcohol related DUI. Two drivers were arrested for driving with suspended or revoked drivers licenses and six individuals were arrested for driving without a license.
The DUI/CDL checkpoint comes on the heels of another checkpoint on April 4, which netted 20 arrests, three of which were alcohol related.
