Screening Supports Small Business Preservation Effort
DAVID AND GOLIATH—On Saturday, May 19 the award winning film "Milagro Beanfield War," directed by Robert Redford, shown above with "Beanfield" actor and Malibu resident Julie Carmen Hoffman, will screen at the Malibu Film Society. The grassroots group, Preserve Malibu, will co-host the event. Two of the film's cast members, Chick Vennera and Julie Carmen Hoffman, will lead a Q&A starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for non-members are $10 at the door and $5 if reserved through www.MalibuFilmSociety.org
