Emily Shane Foundation prepares for spring fundraiser
The Emily Shane Foundation will present its annual spring fundraiser, Wings Over Malibu, at Casa Escobar in Malibu from 6:30-10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26.
The evening will feature hand-crafted cocktails, a dinner, silent and live auctions with an incredible selection of one-of-a-kind items from both local and outside businesses, boutiques, artists, experiences and beyond. There will be music by DJ Orangabang, plus live entertainment, surprise guests, as well as clairvoyant readings and a photo booth.
Malibu native Trinity Rose Drummond, the youngest female contestant ever on NBC’s “The Voice” will also be performing at the event, as will the group kïn featuring sisters Tori and Camryn Griffith from Somis.
Tickets are $150 for general admission per guest, and can be purchased at emilyshane.brownpapertickets.com. A special ticket price for millennials (27 and under) is offered at $50. There is a limited amount of VIP tables also available for purchase for groups of four or more.
All proceeds will benefit the Emily Shane Foundation’s SEA (Successful Educational Achievement) Program, which provides struggling/failing middle school students throughout the Los Angeles and Ventura counties with much-needed mentoring/tutoring support.
SEA only helps those unable to afford the support they need to attain their best academic potential.
