Malibu Search and Rescue came to the rescue of man’s best friend Tuesday, Nov. 7, to mark the crew’s 150th rescue of the year.

The Labrador retriever’s owner, whose property borders on a cliffside in Tuna Canyon, heard the dog yelping and called Malibu Search and Rescue around 2:10 p.m., said David Katz, operations leader for the team.
