At California Wildlife Center, we see thousands of injured animals a year.

Most of our patients’ injuries are a direct result of human interaction. Sometimes it is hard to determine exactly what may be the cause. Case-by-case we play detective, trying to decide if a patient was hit by a car or if it flew into a window. Was there poison involved? Was there an outdoor cat attack?
