A 52-year-old man from Studio City died Monday, Sept. 4, after being ejected from his motorcycle on Kanan Dume Road in Malibu.
The man, who died on the scene, was Luis Rodas, according to California Highway Patrol Public Information Officer Leland Tang.
Rodas was traveling north on Kanan Dume Road, south of Newton Canyon Road, at approximately 4:50 p.m. when he “failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and for reasons unknown ... lost control of his motorcycle,” Tang said.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident, which is under investigation.
