Council Reorganization Meeting Set for Monday

The Malibu City Council reorganization will take place on Monday, April 26, at 6:30 p.m., featuring the swearing in of the two newly elected council members, Laura Rosenthal and Lou La Monte.
Also scheduled is the largely ceremonial rotation of the posts of mayor and mayor pro tem. The likely sequential order calls for Mayor Pro Tem Jefferson Wagner to assume the mayorship and Councilmember John Sibert to become the mayor pro tem.
