MORE PCH LANE CLOSURES SCHEDULED

The California Department of Transportation has announced that it will close one lane of Pacific Coast Highway in both directions at the McClure Tunnel nightly, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., from Monday, Sept. 21, through Thursday, Sept. 25.

Among the reasons for the closure is the installation of tubular handrail on the bridge.

Caltrans indicates that detour signs will be in place.

Motorists are always advised to exercise caution in work zones.
