MALIBU LANE CLOSURES ARE SCHEDULED THIS WEEKEND FOR TRIATHLON
The California Department of Transportation announced planned lane closures on Pacific Coast Highway for the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles Triathlon this weekend.
On Saturday, Sept. 13, from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., one lane of northbound and one lane of southbound Pacific Coast Highway between Heathercliff Road and Deer Creek Road will be closed to traffic.
On Sunday, Sept. 14, from 5:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., one lane of northbound and one lane of southbound Pacific Coast Highway between Heathercliff Road and Mulholland Highway will be shut down.
Caltrans spokespersons say one lane will remain open to traffic at all times. Motorists should expect delays due to the lane closures, the additional traffic for the event, and the crowds of spectators.
